About Us

Mission Statement

Our goal is to provide fair and dignified legal representation with an affordable pricing structure by utilizing our collective decades of experience to people who are struggling under heavy debt loads which impair and frustrate their ability to make financial progress.

We can often provide alternatives to bankruptcy and work with clients to resolve difficult financial troubles with the object of significantly improving their overall financial condition within two to three years. (There are no quick fixes to debt problems.  Beware debt settlement companies.)

In the short term – usually only in a matter of weeks – we can relieve the stress which inevitably accompanies financial crisis.  In the long term, we can truly help you turn things around.

We know how it works. We know what anxiety unpaid bills can create. The phone calls at all hours, the threatening letters, the demands for money with which you struggle to keep up with.

Firm Background

While KPWS Law, P.C. is a new law firm, the attorneys who formed it have been in practice for many years.  All presently work with or are associated with the law firm of Kelley and Polishan, LLC. Kelley and Polishan, LLC does not limit its work to debtor/creditor matters but practices in many areas of the law including personal injury, criminal defense, civil rights, commercial litigation, real estate transactions, real estate tax assessment appeals and divorce.  We represent numerous major local businesses ranging from the very large to the very small.  The impetus for the formation of KPWS Law, P.C. has been our belief that many people have far too much unsecured debt which they can never pay back. We have had great success in relieving people of financial hardship and believe that there are many more in our region who could use our services.

Core Values

Our attorneys and staff at KPWS Law, P.C. are family people.

All of us grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

We are not from privileged backgrounds.

We have all worked hard to become educated and build our law practice. We work hard to take care of our families and clients.

We have never before advertised and are now motivated to market our services due to the well-deserved public perception that lawyers are crooked. People believe that lawyers only have an interest in the average person if they have been in an auto accident.  This is disturbing to us. We feel it is time to correct that perception.  Our attorneys are honest, ethical and hard working.  We intend to keep those as our core values at all times in our service to you.
